• The human heart is very much like the sea, it has its storms,
it has its tides, and in its depths it has its pearls too.

Counselor, Consultant & Speaker

Thank you for visiting my website and exploring getting yourself support. We are in unprecedented challenging times that are filled with grief, confusion, and sorrow. Together we can allow ourselves to feel these truths and navigate how to deal with the overwhelm. You deserve compassion, support, and guidance. It will be great to work together to navigate the waves of the ocean of life.

My philosophy is that in every stage in life there is an opportunity for personal growth and acceptance of self. Together we will evaluate the options available to you, discuss how to navigate family dynamics, create appropriate plans and strategies, and learn about self-care. Exploring and establishing healthy habits can help one find balance and feel success.

"Don't be shy about asking for help.
It does not mean you are weak,
it only mean's you are wise."

Are you a part of the great generation (75+) and trying to deal with this last stage of life? Trying to deal with the grief of outliving your loved ones? Are you wondering about the quality vs. quantity of life? Working with a therapist who is trained in Gerontology (study of older adults) and has dedicated her career to this population can help you.

Do you identify as a Baby Boomer (60s & 70s)? Am I doing this caregiving thing correctly and can it be less stressful? Could you use support with changing life stages into retirement or being a grandparent? Are you asking yourself, are these changes part of normal aging? Let’s ride this wave of change together and make thoughtful decisions.

Are you in your midlife, Generation X (40+), and curious about whether your living the life you want and am I setting myself up for success? Should I get a divorce or do I just need to be more authentic in my relationship? I notice I am turning into my parents and at the same time what do I need to think about as they begin to age? Can you help me work with my siblings as my parents’ age?

#Millennial? Are you asking yourself what is my place in this ever-changing world? Can I live my life more intentionally with a career and relationships (including with myself) that feel good? Am I implementing these “healthy boundaries” correctly? Can I leave some of the pain from my past behind? Do I know how to separate my own ideas, desires, goals from my friends, family, and culture? During this stage in life, we are ready to step deeper into the life we want and therapy is a place to explore how to get there.

I’m 20, will my life fall into place? How can I become independent from my parents? Is this relationship or workplace healthy? Why is my default response anger/sadness/shutdown? Is my relationship to drugs and alcohol ok? Working with a therapist is an investment in learning about oneself.

“Waves are inspiring not because they rise and fall, but because each time they fall they never fail to rise again.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
